The GIB Fringe is a festival held once a year in Amy as part of the Gibraltar Spring festival, in the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens Open Air Theater in Gibraltar. The first Fringe was held in June 2013,〔http://www.visitgibraltar.gi/event/gib-fringe/19〕with a total of 9 performances and 3 free ones. The festival is open to all different sorts of performances – from dance, to pantomime, music, stand-up, to comedy and exhibitions. Free performances were held in the Gardens, ticketed events in the Theater. It follows the idea of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The festival has one main venue - the Open Air Theater in the Botanic Gardens. It has a fish pond surrounding the stage, which is something different. The festival has been created by "it's 3 o'clock somewhere entertainment" and the Alameda Botanic Gardens and is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Heritage and Youth.〔https://www.gibraltar.gov.gi/sites/default/files/Cultural%20Grants%20C.2%20Cultural%20Grants%20made%20for%20this%20financial%20year,%20April%202012%20to%20date.pdf〕 ==History== International Artists who took part in the first Fringe were Mr. Paperman Lorenzo Torres, German pianist Mr.Tang, Steve Cousins as the Baloonatic, Eidolon from New Zealand and others. 2014 the Fringe featured the Dopes a band from Australia, Tricity Vogue - performing the blue lady, The Naughton Sisters and many more. 2015 features first class comedy with Scott Capurro and Andrew Doyle. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「GIB Fringe」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
